Shutdown of MeF production for personal income tax

The IRS 1040 MeF personal income tax production shutdown will begin on Saturday, November 17, 2018, in order to prepare for the tax year 2018 filing season. All New York State electronic filings should be made before that date. This will be the last date that tax year 2015 returns can be e-filed.

Please note, while no electronic filings can occur during the shutdown, estimated tax payments can still be submitted through your Online Services account.
