Help us improve our power plant valuation program
Please email Henry.Szypulski@tax.ny.gov with any information you have about power plant sales, including:
- contracts of sale,
- Form RP-5217 data,
- newspaper articles, or
- other helpful information
We’ll use this information to expand our ability to identify and research these sales.
In addition, Form RP-5217 requires users to report the entire purchase price on line 13. Any deductions to the purchase price for personal property are reported on line 14. If you become aware of any discrepancies between information reported on Form RP-5217 and the actual purchase price, please:
- submit a sales correction via the RPS035 Transmittals process or on a paper form (see Paper corrections),
- notify Henry at the e-mail above, and
- notify your county RPT director.
