Dear New York State Cosmetologist Licensee,
We’re pleased to inform you of an update on your cosmetology service offerings.
Effective September 4, 2024, a New York State licensed Cosmetologist can add eyebrow and eyelash tinting to your services. The new regulation allows for the use of products containing silver nitrate color additives in accordance with federal guidelines.
