DEC Invites Public Comment About Proposed Partial Deletion of Site on Sheep Pasture Rd., Port Jefferson Station from the Registry of State Superfund Sites

This link opens a public notice about a proposal to delist part of the Lawrence Aviation Industries site #152016 (Port Jefferson Station, Suffolk County) from New York's Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites:

DEC is proposing to delist part of this State Superfund Program site because it has determined that the part no longer presents a threat to public health or the environment. The public notice explains why this determination was made.

DEC will receive public comments about the proposal through August 3, 2025. See the public notice for details.
