This link opens a fact sheet invites public comment about a proposed expedited cleanup of contamination related to Operable Unit (OU)-4 of the Bay Shore/Brightwaters Former MGP site #152172 (Bayshore, Suffolk County), within New York’s State Superfund Program:
DEC is accepting public comments about the proposal through May 18, 2024. Please see fact sheet for details about the proposal and how to comment.
Field work for this expedited action, known as an "Interim Remedial Measure", is expected to begin in May 2024.
