Student Poster Showcase

NYSAR3 would like to highlight the work of undergraduate or graduate university students in a student poster showcase at the Summit. Students are invited to submit an abstract of 300 – 500 words on their research, project, or student-led program related to composting, compostable products, or organics recycling. If a student's abstract is accepted, their Summit registration fee will be covered for the entire day of the poster showcase (Tuesday, April 4th, 2023).

Learn more about the Call for Student Posters (you will need to click on the Student Poster Showcase tab).

New York Waste Deep: Wasted Food Opportunities for Businesses

Join Center for EcoTechnology on March 21, 2023, at 3 PM (EST) for their virtual event, Waste Deep: Wasted Food Opportunities for Your Business.

Forty percent of food grown and imported into the U.S. is wasted, but you can help! Reducing wasted food not only benefits the environment, but can provide opportunities to feed your community, save money, and improve public health. Drawing from over two decades of working with businesses, the Center for EcoTechnology (CET) is hosting a series of webinars for businesses in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York. We will highlight success stories from peers that have implemented prevention, donation, and composting programs and will discuss CET’s no-cost technical assistance that can meet you where you are on your food waste reduction journey.

Register for the event.
