Get Out and Ramble! Hudson River Valley Ramble Events Through Oct. 2

Several kayakers paddle on the Hudson near Kingston on a sunny day.

The 22nd Hudson River Valley Ramble held every day from September through October 2nd, celebrates the history, culture, and natural resources of the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area and across the region. Whether you are looking for a hike, bike ride, or paddle, an inspiring walk through the grounds and homes of some of the Valley's most notable artists, authors, and American leaders, a trip back in time to experience the significant role the region played in the Revolutionary War, or a family-fun festival or river exploration event, the Hudson River Valley Ramble offers something for everyone. So get out there and Ramble! Check out the digital guidebook (PDF) or view the website for a full listing of events.

The Ramble is presented by the Hudson River Valley Greenway and Maurice D. Hinchey Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area and is sponsored by the National Park Service, the DEC's Hudson River Estuary Program, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, and the New York State Division of Tourism “I Love NY”.
