DEC Fisheries Needs Your Input
DEC is conducting a brief survey to learn more about the views of New York anglers on the sunfish daily possession limit. Go online to take the brief survey. DEC is accepting responses until September 12.
The Results Are In!
To obtain angler opinions regarding a potential change in the Oneida walleye daily limit, DEC Fisheries developed and delivered a web-based survey via this newsletter from June 26 – July 8. The results of this survey (PDF) will be used by DEC Fisheries managers to help inform our management decisions for Oneida Lake. (Spoiler alert - Overall, 62 percent of respondents either supported or strongly supported increasing the limit to 5/day). |
