NYSDEC Invites Public Comment About Cleanup Proposal for State Superfund Site on State St., Schenectady

This link opens a fact sheet that invites public comment about a proposed remedy to address contamination related to the Mid-Town Laundry, site ID #447048 (Schenectady, Schenectady County) within New York’s State Superfund Program:


NYSDEC is accepting public comments about the proposal through May 29, 2020.

To limit the community spread of COVID-19, Governor Cuomo issued Executive Order 202.15 suspending in-person public meetings relating to proposed site remedies. DEC remains committed to providing the public with ample opportunity to provide input on proposed remedies in your community. You are encouraged to provide comments in writing to the DEC Project Manager identified in the fact sheet during the 30-day public comment period.
