Public Hearing – Draft EIS proposed Wingdale Materials LLC Proposed Surface Mine
Wednesday September 18, 2019 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. and at 6 p.m.

Dutchess County - DEC, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Wingdale Materials LLC Proposed Surface Mine Expansion. The action involves the expansion of surface mine operations at an existing 84.5 acre quarry by 120.4 acres, increasing the total surface life of mine area to 204.9 acres, on 650 acres controlled by the permittee.

A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on September 18, 2019 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and at 6 p.m. at the Dover Town Hall, 126 East Duncan Hill Road, Dover.
Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until October 4, 2019.
