STATUS OF ADIRONDACK SEASONAL ACCESS ROADS
MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY WEEKEND 2019

  • Many seasonal access roads are open but due to the amount of snow received this winter and the amount of rain this spring, many remain closed.
  • Closed roads will reopen after the frost has thawed, the roads are dry, and any necessary repairs and maintenance are completed.
  • The lists below identify which roads are open and which remain closed.
  • Seasonal access roads are dirt and gravels roads that can be rough.
  • Roads may be narrow – use caution, drive slowly, and watch for oncoming vehicles.
  • Four-wheel drive SUVs, pick-up trucks, and other high clearance vehicles are recommended for driving on these roads this time of year.
