NYSDEC Issues Proposed Amended Remedy to Address Navy Grumman Groundwater Plume (Bethpage); Public Meeting and Comment Period Scheduled

The Proposed AROD describes cleanup action to supplement existing remedies. NYSDEC is accepting public comments about the proposed AROD through July 7, 2019. Please see fact sheet for details about the proposal and how to comment.

NYSDEC also will hold an informal Availability Session and a Public Meeting to discuss the Proposed AROD: Monday, June 10, 2019 at Bethpage High School, 10 Cherry Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714. The Availability Session begins at 5:00 PM and the Public Meeting begins at 7:00 PM.
