Mud Lock (Cayuga Lake) Boat Launch to Close for Renovation September 4 |

Site improvements to be completed include a new concrete launch ramp, floating boarding docks and a paved launch access and parking area. Funding for the project was provided through Governor Cuomo's Adventure NY initiative. The site is expected to remain closed through much of October. Boaters looking to access the north end of the lake during this period can use the boat launch at Cayuga Lake State Park, 2678 Lower Lake Road, Seneca Falls. DEC announced today that the Mud Lock boat launch at the north end of Cayuga Lake in the Town of Aurelius (Cayuga County) will close for renovation starting Tuesday, September 4.|
