The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is closing the DEC Lake Placid Boat Launch Site on Mirror Lake Drive on Thursday, June 7, until 4 p.m. while DEC crews sweep the parking lot and complete maintenance work. During this scheduled maintenance work, DEC asks boaters seeking to access Lake Placid to wait until after 4 p.m. or use other boat launches on the lake. DEC appreciates the cooperation of the public in this matter. |
