Webinar: New Tools and Updates to the Climate Smart Communities Certification Program

Please join us to learn about updates to the CSC Certification program and new tools to streamline the application process for local governments. Speakers will take attendees on a tour of the new online CSC certification portal and discuss the evolution of the program since its launch four years ago. To learn more about the portal, read the recent press release.

If you plan to attend, please provide your name, email and community affiliation to the DEC Office of Climate Change at climatechange@dec.ny.gov or 518-402-8448. In the event that we postpone the webinar, respondents will be notified. Registration is recommended but not required.

To join the webinar on May 10th, follow these steps:

  1. First, click on this link: https://meetny.webex.com/meetny/onstage/g.php?MTID=e18313ce096ecf3725f8a325514fdd115
  2. Enter your name and email address.
  3. Enter the meeting password: NYSDEC1
  4. Click "Join".
  5. Audio by phone: Click “Call Me” in the onscreen “Audio Connection” box and enter your phone number to have the system call you. Alternatively, call 1-844-633-8697 and enter the Event Number: 648 929 913, followed by your Attendee ID (which will be displayed on your screen in the Event Info tab) to join the audio portion. (The Attendee ID is recommended but not required.)
  6. Audio via computer: To listen via your computer's built-in audio or via VoIP, go to the Audio menu and select "Call Using Computer".

Please join the webinar at least five minutes early to allow yourself time to get connected. Note that you may have to download the WebEx plug-in and/or restart your internet browser to connect to the webinar. This webinar can be accessed using an Android mobile phone, iPhone, iPad, or other computer running a Windows or Mac operating system.
