Do you transport C&D debris? You may need to register with DEC!

Among the changes to the Part 364 Waste Transporter regulations that took effect November 4, 2017, the transportation of construction and demolition (C&D) debris is no longer an exempt activity. Part 364 now regulates commercially generated or transported C&D debris, and transporting more than 10 cubic yards of C&D debris in a single shipment requires a Part 364 registration. C&D debris that is both generated and transported by a homeowner is considered residential waste and is not regulated by Part 364.
