DEC's Hudson River Estuary Program is helping coordinate the planning of HABs mitigation actions for the Monhagen Lake Reservoir, one of the 12 priority waterbodies identified for the first year of the state's initiative. The reservoir serves as the drinking water supply for the city of Middletown. Each summit includes an evening session open to the public where background information about HABs is provided. The next summit session is this evening, Tuesday, March 6, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in Syracuse (SUNY ESF Gateway Center Building, 1 Forestry Drive, Syracuse, NY 13210). If you can’t attend the event, you can watch via livestream. |
