DEC Prospect Mountain Veteran's Memorial Parkway

Due to the icy conditions and below freezing temperatures forecast this weekend, DEC is closing Prospect Mountain Veteran’s Memorial Parkway for the weekend. This was to be the final weekend the Parkway was open, and DEC planned to have it open for free in honor of Veteran's Day. However, DEC is taking the precaution of closing the parkway to ensure the safety of people, especially veterans, who may have used the parkway despite potentially dangerous weather conditions. |
