New York Green Business

  • The recently launched New York Green Business (NYGB) program provides recognition and benefits to businesses and other entities that have a strong commitment to operating sustainably.
  • Businesses that participate must have a good record of compliance, make future sustainability commitments, and communicate those commitments to their customers and employees.
  • Applications will be accepted through Friday, December 15th.

Town of Huntington Local Solid Waste Management Plan

  • DEC issued an approvable letter to the Town of Huntington on their Draft Local Solid Waste Management Plan. The Town of Huntington will be holding a public comment period for all residents in the upcoming months before receiving final approval.
