DEC Statement Regarding Discharge by the Niagara Falls Water Board
"The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is responding to a report from the Niagara Falls Water Board of overflows and discharges associated with the Niagara Falls Wastewater Treatment Plant and sewage system. While the discharge occurred at a time of heavy rain in the area, DEC's investigation is ongoing at this time. DEC will provide additional information as it becomes available."
