Dear Fellow New Yorker, In response to the United States withdrawing from the Paris climate agreement, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo joined California Governor Edmund G. Brown and Washington Governor Jay Inslee to launch the U.S. Climate Alliance, a coalition of states committed to taking aggressive action on climate change. If Washington will not act on climate change then New Yorkers must. Will you show your support for the U.S. Climate Alliance and the fight to protect our climate? Add your name in support of protecting our climate As the federal government abdicates its responsibility and ignores basic science, states across the nation are picking up the mantle of climate leadership. Since launching last month, the U.S. Climate Alliance has grown to include 14 member states and territories, representing more than 30 percent of Americans. The coalition builds on New York’s ongoing efforts to advance energy efficiency, renewable energy programs and make our world a better place for our children, including:
