Green Jobs for Youth Grant Webinar 

Green Jobs kids A webinar for accessing and applying for the 2017 Environmental Justice Green Jobs for Youth Grant on the Grants Gateway is scheduled for July 19th, 2017 at 1:30PM.

Green Jobs for Youth, is one of the many initiatives Governor Cuomo detailed in his 2017 State of the State to address environmental justice. The purpose of the new funding is to help prepare young New Yorkers entering the workforce for emerging job opportunities in clean energy, construction of green infrastructure, and urban agriculture. Applications are due September 1, 2017.

More information can be found on our website: http://www.dec.ny.gov/public/31226.html. The Request for Applications and the application itself can be accessed on the New York State Grants Gateway. Go to Grants Gateway then either use the browse function and scroll until you see DEC's 2017 Environmental Justice Green Jobs for Youth in EJ Areas opportunity or use the search function and search for "green jobs." The grant opportunity ID is DEC01-EJJobs-2017. A webinar for accessing and applying for the grant opportunity on the Grants Gateway is scheduled for July 19th, 2017 at 1:30PM.

To participate in this webinar please click on the following link, NYS DEC EJJOBS Grant Application Process, and register for the meeting. Once the host approves your request, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for joining the meeting.
