Registration is now OPEN!

The registration book and registration form for the September 16-18, 2016 Becoming an Outdoors-Woman workshop at Greek Peak are attached. Also attached are the requirements to obtain a hunter education or trapper education certificate and the waiver that must be signed and returned if you want to take the Aerial Challenge class.

In order to open the attached you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader. Adobe Acrobat is available as a free download from http://get.adobe.com/reader/

I register women for the workshop in the order of the date their envelopes are postmarked. So, a woman who mails her registration from Albany today will be registered in the same batch as one mailed from Buffalo today, even if the Buffalo envelope arrives days later than the Albany one. Please do not use a postage meter that does not print a date. Also, there is no need to pay extra to send it overnight mail. I register by the day it was mailed, not the day it arrives, so save yourself some money.

A few new, exciting classes are being offered at this workshop – Stand Up Paddleboard, Wildlife Photography, Caught on Camera (Trail Cameras), Backyard Wildlife, Car Confidence and Aerial Challenge. You can read the descriptions of these classes in the registration booklet.

If there is a class that you really, really want and it is offered twice, in two different sessions (like Taxidermy) and you are willing to take it in any session you can get into, please include a note with your registration. The note might say something like: “I really want to take the taxidermy class. I would prefer to take it in session 3, but if that class is full I would like to take it in session 1 if that class is still open.” Otherwise I will only consider you for taxidermy in the session you selected.

Don’t forget to mark your first, second, third, fourth and fifth class preference in each session!

I will register 125 women for the workshop. Women registering after the workshop is full will be placed on a wait list. I will email you if you are placed on the wait list.

If you have any questions Do Not hit reply to this email. My email address and phone number are below. Email is the best way to reach me.
