MARCH RECAP
Women's History Month
In honor of Women's History Month, County Executive Ed Day highlighted two incredible female business owners in the County of Rockland.
The first was Jeannie Nicolakis of Sparky's Diner in Garnerville, who County Executive Day presented with an Award of Recognition to celebrate the restaurant's 50 years serving our community.
We honor and thank Jeannie for her contributions in shaping the growth of our beloved Rockland County and creating opportunities for all.
The County Executive also honored Marcella Mazzeo, owner of Salonnière Coffee Bar in Nyack, for her commitment to both her community and the veteran community by hosting events that benefit those in need.
Deputy County Executive Michael Hoblin, a retired U.S. Army Lt. Colonel, presented the honor and thanked Marcella for all that she does for our county & community.
