Four pallets of food made their way to TOUCH thanks to a generous donation from AAA Wholesale Distributors Corp.
The effort was coordinated by County Executive Ed Day, Deputy County Executive Mike Hoblin, Rep. Mike Lawler, United Way of Rockland County and TOUCH, all working together to support our families in need.

Rockland County Veteran of the Year
Congratulations to U.S. Marine Corps veteran & Stony Point resident Raymond A. Furlong on being named the Rockland County Veteran of the Year!
Thank you to the Rockland County Veterans Coordinating Council, community members, and veterans who gathered to honor Raymond for his brave service to our country. May we never forget his sacrifice.
Highway Crews are Snow Ready
Rockland County Highway Crews completed snow school, brushing up on plowing skills, reviewing safety protocols, checking their routes for obstacles and making sure every truck is inspected and prepped for the season.
The County thanks our Highway Department for making sure crews countywide will have the skills to keep roads this winter delightful.
Pearl River High School Alum Inducted into Rockland Softball Hall of Fame
Join us in congratulating Morgan Sheehan of Pearl River High School Class of 2005 on being inducted into the Rockland County Softball Hall of Fame!
The sotfball standout was presented with an Award of Recognition from Rockland County Executive Ed Day for her stellar career including being named All-American.
Health Dept. Offers Free Home Visits, Carbon Monoxide Detectors to Residents
November is Carbon Monoxide (CO) Awareness Month - the peak season for CO dangers as heating systems and generators are used more often.
Our Department of Health's Healthy Neighborhoods Program (HNP) can help, offering FREE home visits to identify hazards in addition to FREE carbon monoxide detectors and smoke alarms.

Ensuring All Residents Have a Bountiful Thanksgiving
The Rockland County Office for the Aging handed out Thanksgiving meals to homebound seniors and those most in need, helping ensure everyone in our community enjoyed a warm and festive holiday. Thank you to our staff and community partners who make this tradition possible.
