Rockland County Executive Ed Day proudly presented the Key to the County, our highest honor, to Roxanne Watson.
A two time heart transplant recipient, Roxanne has dedicated her life to organ donation advocacy, signing up over 14,000 donors through LiveOn NY and giving countless families hope for the future.

Joanne Louis-Paul Named 2025 Environmetal Volunteer Awardee
County Executive Ed Day and the Rockland County Division of Environmental Resources presented the 28th County Executive’s Outstanding Environmental Volunteer Award to Joanne Louis-Paul during a ceremony at Kennedy Dells County Park in New City.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
The Rockland County Executive's Office wore purple to raise awareness about domestic violence and to show support for victims and survivors.

9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit Comes to Rockland
Rockland County welcomed the Tunnel to Towers Foundation 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit to Nyack for residents and visitors to reflect and pay tribute to our fallen heroes.
Highlighting the Importance of Reading in our Schools
Kindergarteners in Mrs. Berta's class at New City Elementary School in the Clarkstown Central School District enjoyed a special visit from Rockland County Executive Ed Day as a guest reader.
The County Executive enjoyed visiting the students to reinforce the importance of reading!
Rocco's Honored during Italian Heritage Month
During Italian Heritage Month, County Executive Ed Day recognized Rocco's Italian Family Restaurant in New City for being a staple in Rockland since 1981, in addition to enriching the County's Italian community - all while serving up delicious food!
