Rockland County Health Department Advises Residents of Recent Measles Cases Across United States

Rockland County Executive Ed Day advises residents to stay protected from measles as new cases are surfacing across the country.

“As the disease spreads in the US, we are taking proactive measures to prevent Rockland County from enduring a repeat of the measles outbreak in 2018, when measles surfaced and a total of 312 cases were confirmed,” said County Executive Ed Day.

Human Rights Commissioner Spencer Chiimbwe was most deservedly honored by the Town of Stony Point for his tireless commitment towards the protection of Human Rights in Rockland County and around the world.

Funding Approved for Road Intersection Improvement Project in Haverstraw

Deputy Superintendent of Highways Al Carnevale explains details of the Suffern Lane at Hammond Rd intersection improvement project to Rockland County Executive Ed Day, Rockland Legislature Chair Jay Hood Jr., Superintendent of Highways Charles "Skip" Vezzetti and Director of Public Policy & Intergovernmental Relations Stephen J. Powers.

Creighton Manning Engineering was selected to provide construction inspection services for a total cost of $1,232,000.
