Office of Fire and Emergency Services Townhall On Flooding
New City, NY – The Rockland County Office of Fire and Emergency Services is hosting a townhall for residents and municipalities to understand what can be done in the face of changing conditions and defend against the threat of flood hazards.
The presentation is being done in partnership with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
The public is invited to attend in-person or online and learn about low-cost ways to protect their home, current and future County risks, understanding FEMA maps, and more.
When: Thursday, March 23rd from 4 to 6 p.m.
