We are excited to report that legislation to extend authorizations of conditional adult-use cultivators and processors to minimally process and distribute cannabis products until June 1, 2024, S.7354 (Hinchey) and A.7430 (Peoples-Stokes), passed in the New York Senate and New York Assembly today.
Today’s votes bring this extension of the authorization to deliver closer to reality as it awaits the Governor's signature to become law. The current authorization for licensed cultivators and processors to distribute cannabis lapses at 11:59 p.m. June 1, 2023. We do not anticipate any disruptions to New York’s cannabis industry.
