Molinaro to Host Coronavirus Telephone Town
Hall with Local Business Community on Friday

Poughkeepsie ... Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro announced today he will host an hour-long Coronavirus Telephone Town Hall for local business owners and leaders on Friday, March 20th, at 1 p.m., during which he’ll provide updates on the County’s response to the evolving pandemic, its economic impacts and relief efforts, as well as answer participants’ questions.

County Executive Molinaro said, “Given this unprecedented health situation, we in Dutchess County Government understand the hardships being faced by our own business community, and we continue to advocate for State and Federal support. I encourage business owners to join Friday’s Telephone Town Hall to let us know their needs and ask important questions they may have. Together, we are facing these uncertain times, and we will emerge as a stronger community.”

Dutchess County Government has collaborated with local business partners to create the Dutchess Business Notification Network (DBNN), which shares important updates, guidelines and information that businesses will need to know moving forward during the Coronavirus pandemic. Recent DBNN updates include the latest updates from the New York State Department of Labor regarding unemployment insurance claims, eligibility for Small Business Administration disaster loans and local stores’ updated hours for senior shoppers, among others.

Business owners are encouraged to sign up online to join the DBNN mailing list and receive regular emails.
