Dutchess County to Host Veterans Day Ceremony

Monday, November 11th at 11 a.m.

County Executive Marc Molinaro invites all residents to attend the County's annual Veterans Day ceremony at the Dutchess County War Memorial on Monday, November 11th, beginning at 11 a.m. The event is one of many throughout Dutchess County, hosted by local communities.

The Dutchess County War Memorial is located at John K. Rinaldi Memorial Park at the intersection of Raymond Avenue and Main Street in the Town of Poughkeepsie, and the event will gather local veterans from several eras and will include an invocation, presentation of colors, a benediction and a wreath presentation by County Executive Molinaro.

Monday's ceremony at the Dutchess County War is one of may Veterans Day remembrances throughout the County, and County Executive Molinaro urges residents to celebrate local veterans by participating in one or more event. The Division of Veterans' Services has compiled the following list of local Veterans Day events:
