County Clerk Kendall Partners with County Division of Veterans Services to Host a Passport and Return the FAVOR Fair

Dutchess County Clerk Brad Kendall and Director Marc Coviello of the Dutchess County's Division of Veterans Services are pleased to host a Passport and Return the FAVOR Fair. The event will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Dutchess County Clerk’s Office, 22 Market Street– 1st Floor, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601. Services available during the opening include passport processing and Return the FAVOR program enrollment. No DMV or legal related business will be accepted.

As a passport processing facility, the County Clerk’s Office administers passport applications for first-time adult applicants, children under age 16, or those needing a replacement for a lost, stolen, or damaged passport. Passport photos are also available to new applicants and those seeking passport renewals for an additional fee of $10.00. Please note that the fees payable to the US Department of State must be in the form of a check or money order.

A joint venture between the County Clerk’s Office and Division of Veterans Services, the Return the FAVOR Program issues IDs to honorably discharged veterans who are county residents enabling them to access discounted products or services through participating businesses and merchants. Those who served actively in the US military Veterans are to bring their Military Separation Papers i.e. DD-214, WDO-AGO 53-55, etc., indicating Full-Time Active Duty service and complete the Veteran's Application Form to obtain an ID.

County Clerk Brad Kendall stated, “We are pleased to once again offer a Passport Fair to individuals and families in applying for their U.S. Passports. I appreciate Director Coviello joining us to expand our services to include enrollment for our veterans in the Return the FAVOR program as well. We encourage those who are in need of these services to make use of our extended hours.”

Free parking in the lot adjacent to the County Office Building will be available as space permits. All services provided will be assisted on a first-come, first served basis.
