What is the Plan Comparison Tool?
The Plan Comparison Tool is an online platform designed to help you compare insurance plans available to you under NYSHIP with a few clicks. After selecting the counties where you live and/or work from the dropdown menu, you can:

View key coverage categories, including hospital, medical and surgical services, prescription drug coverage and mental health and substance use services.

Compare plan details side-by-side, such as copayment amounts, coverage limits, network restrictions and out-of-pocket maximums.

Filter by eligibility group (active employee and retiree) and plan type (commercial and Medicare Advantage).
