March 26, 2026
Hello friends and neighbors,
As March comes to a close and we welcome April, I’m reminded just how quickly this year is moving — and how much our community has already accomplished together. From groundbreakings and grand openings to art exhibitions, block parties, and neighborhood gatherings, the energy across Las Vegas has been truly inspiring.
Thank you for continuing to show up, support one another, and help strengthen the spirit that makes our community so special.
I also invite you to check out a recent interview I had on the podcast “In the Studio” with J. Haleem — the link is included below. It was a great opportunity to share more about the work we’re doing and the vision for our community.
With that same spirit of progress and connection, our work across the ward continues. Be sure to explore the “Looking Ahead – Come Join Us!” section below for upcoming events and ways to stay engaged.
Wishing you a safe, enjoyable and inspiring weekend!
Warm regards,
Shondra Summers-Armstrong

Dovetail At Decatur Construction Kickoff
March 18, I had the pleasure of joining Contour Homes — a proud locally owned and operated homebuilder — for the groundbreaking of Dovetail, an exciting new townhome community at Decatur and Lake Mead Boulevard designed with attainable homeownership in mind.
Congratulations to Maurice “Mo” Seeback, owner and operator of Contour Homes, along with the partners who helped bring this vision to life. Projects like this are opening doors and creating more opportunities for Nevadans to achieve the dream of homeownership.
