We have a new park coming to Skye Canyon, and we need your help choosing its name! Please take a moment to complete the survey here.
Looking to enjoy spring blooms and wildlife? We’re partnering with the Nevada Department of Wildlife for a guided walk March 28 through Floyd Lamb Park to spot plants, birds, bunnies and more. We’ll also have a coffee truck there for a morning boost. RSVP is required.
Unfortunately, we do need to cancel our Bocaditos with Brune this week. But please save the date for our next one Thursday, April 9, 10-11 a.m. Come join us with questions and thoughts to share!

Celebrating Community
The Centennial Springs Celebration was such a fun way to bring our community together!
Local vendors, performances, public vehicle displays and special character appearances made it a true celebration. We loved partnering with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Office of Community Engagement and Centennial Springs small businesses to bring this event to life.
Celebrating Reading Week
One of my favorite times of the year is Reading Week! I loved visiting Kitty Ward Elementary School to share a story with the kiddos.
Cleaning Our Parks
We loved partnering with Get Outdoors Nevada for a park cleanup at Centennial Hills Park. About 100 volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help keep our park beautiful.
Playing Pickleball With Neighbors
Thank you to our neighbors who joined us for Friday morning pickleball at Centennial Hills Park! Nothing like a little friendly competition to start the day!
Free Shredding Services
Thanks to the neighbors who attended our free shredding service. Our office is happy to offer this helpful and free resource to our community to help prevent identity theft!
Attending Mesquite's State of the City
It was great to attend Mesquite’s State of the City event with Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley. Congratulations to Mesquite Mayor Jesse Whipple and the Mesquite City Council. Lots of exciting progress and opportunities ahead for Mesquite!
Supporting Mountain Ridge Little League
It was a treat to speak at Mountain Ridge Little League Opening Day! They received a city proclamation, recognizing their outstanding youth baseball program and the tight-knit community they’ve built. Here’s to a great season ahead!
Learning About Water Pollution Control
We were given a tour of the city’s Water Pollution Control Facility. It was eye-opening to see the important work happening behind the scenes to clean wastewater and safely return it to our environment.

Aqua Egg Hunt - March 21
We're partnering with the Centennial Hills YMCA for an Aqua Egg Hunt that is free for all ages Saturday, March 21, 10 a.m.-noon. There will be an egg hunt in the pool, local vendors, activities and more! Download the flyer and scan the QR codes to sign up based on age group.
Pilates In The Park - March 21
Our next ConnectHER event is a free Pilates in the Park! Start your morning off with gal pals, a guided pilates workout, networking and wellness juice Saturday, March 21, 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Pop Squires Park, 7530 Nicklin St. Registration is required. Please bring your own mat.
Town Hall: Iron Mountain Capital Project Update - March 24
Hear informative updates on the Iron Mountain road and storm drain project directly from the city's Public Works team Tuesday, March 24, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Shadow Ridge High School cafeteria, 5050 Brent Lane. Bring your questions!
Free Family Spring Fling - April 4
Our annual Family Spring Fling is coming up Saturday, April 4, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs. We'll have a vendor fair, classic car show, pet paw-parade, pet adoption with local rescues and other activities.

A Night Among the Stars - April 11
Our stargazing event is back! We are partnering with the Las Vegas Astronomical Society to explore our cosmos using their telescopes Saturday, April 11, 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Floyd Lamb Park. Registration is required. Please bring your own chairs and blankets for lounging.

There will be road closures Saturday, March 28, 6 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in Centennial Hills for the Revel Race. Please see the diagram for specific road closures and information.
Teen Maker Fair
Calling all teen creators ages 11-17! Celebrate Maker March at the free Teen Maker Fair at Centennial Hills Library Thursday, March 26, 3-4 p.m. to explore fun, hands-on activities designed just for teens. Come see what you can create!
Bunnies Matter Rescue Spring Fling
Bunnies Matter Rescue is having their Spring Fling Saturday, March 28, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs. There will be bunnies, games, face painting and crafts.
Spring Spectacular Yard Sale
Poppy Foundation's Spring Spectacular Yard Sale is coming up on March 21 and 22, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m., with plenty of activities to enjoy.
Calling Artists!
The city of Las Vegas, in partnership with the city of Las Vegas Arts Commission, invites seniors age 50+ to enter the Celebrating Life! free juried art competition. Now in its 26th year, this competition and exhibition highlight the creative talents of Southern Nevada artists, displaying a diverse array of artistic expression.
Centennial Hills Active Adult Center Activity Calendar
The Centennial Hills Active Adult Center operated by the city of Las Vegas is open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 6601 N. Buffalo Drive.
