Kicking Off A New Chapter
Our city is officially the new national headquarters for the Walking Soccer Association, and I was proud to present a proclamation to celebrate this historic milestone.
Walking Soccer is a fun, low-impact twist on the world’s favorite sport. It's designed for adults 50+, veterans and retired athletes who want to stay active and engaged.
Celebrating Galentine's Day
Our Galentine’s event at Vibes DIY Studio brought gal pals together for creativity, celebration and a whole lot of love. Thank you to Vibes DIY Studio for their partnership and being a gem in our Northwest community!
Supporting Accessible Housing
I attended the opening of Ovation’s Sunhaven, a 50-unit permanent supportive housing development serving extremely low-income individuals and households. Residents also will have access to supportive services designed to help maintain long-term housing stability.
Serving Up Community Fun
Thank you to everyone who joined us for pickleball at Centennial Hills Park! Nothing brings people together quite like a little friendly competition and community fun.
We’ll be back this Friday, March 6, 8-10 a.m. at Centennial Hills Park.
Connecting with Neighbors
We held neighborhood office hours at our Ward 6 office at the Centennial Hills YMCA to connect with neighbors. Then we headed to Centennial Hills Park for our Yappy Hour, where we handed out treats!
