Sweet Honey In The Rock Concert
Sweet Honey in the Rock brought us an evening of lovely music at the West Las Vegas Theatre! They performed on Friday, Jan. 16 for a group of Ward 5 schoolchildren and again on Saturday, Jan. 17 for the general public. A huge THANK YOU to this amazing group for sharing their talent with us, and for everyone who showed up to support!

In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday, Jan. 19, I walked in the parade downtown with more than 100 students from Vegas Vista Academy, Bunker Elementary School, Parsons Elementary School and Western High School's Marching Band and Dance Team. Thank you to everyone who came out to show their support and represent our Ward 5 schools!
