If so, have we got courts for you! Councilwoman Allen-Palenske and Ward 4 are proud to be the home of much-needed new Pickleball Courts. Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the U.S. It's a game that combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It's popular because it's easy to learn, social and playable by people of almost any age or fitness level. We encourage everyone in the community to participate in our groundbreaking event on Jan. 8, 2026, and share in the excitement of new Pickleball courts coming to Ward 4!

On Jan. 14, 2026, Councilwoman Allen-Palenske, along with other community stakeholders, will break ground on more than a memorial—they will lay a foundation of gratitude. The Nevada State Veterans Memorial will stand as a lasting tribute to the men and women who answered the call to serve with courage, sacrifice and unwavering dedication, and we are proud to have it in beautiful Ward 4. This memorial will forever honor their legacy, remember their sacrifices and inspire future generations to live with the same sense of duty and respect. We hope you can join us for this momentous occasion.
