First Friday in the Arts District
Friday, Sept. 5
First Friday is a monthly art, music and food festival in the 18b Las Vegas Arts District. Road closures start at 6 a.m. Sept. 5. Roads will reopen at 1 a.m. Sept. 6. Major closures: Boulder to Hoover avenues, Art Way to First Street, Main Street from Charleston Boulevard to Coolidge Avenue. See the map below.
Vegas Tiny Home Expo Friday-Sunday, Sept. 5-7
Vegas Tiny Homes Expo is an event for builders and buyers. Road closures start at 6 p.m. Sept. 4. Roads will reopen at 6 a.m. Sept. 8. Major closures: Third Street from Bridger to Carson avenues; Bridger Avenue from Casino Center Boulevard to Third Street. See the map below.
9/11 Patriots Day March
Thursday, Sept. 11
This is the annual first responders march to honor those lost Sept. 11, 2001, in New York City. Road closures start at 4 p.m. Sept. 11. Roads will reopen at 12 a.m. Sept. 12 Major closures: Third Street between Ogden and Stewart avenues and Ogden Avenue from Casino Center Boulevard to Fourth Street. See the map below.

This block party will be open to the public on Fremont East. Road closures start at 10 a.m. Sept. 12. Roads will reopen at 1 a.m. Sept. 13. Major closures: Fremont Street from Las Vegas Boulevard to Seventh Street, Sixth Street from Carson to Ogden avenues. See the map below.

Oktoberfest Downtown Las Vegas
Friday-Sunday, Sept. 19-21
Inaugural Oktoberfest downtown on Fremont East. Road closures start 12 a.m. Sept. 19. Roads will reopen at 5 p.m. Sept. 22. Major closures: Fremont Street from Las Vegas Boulevard to Seventh Street, Sixth Street from Carson to Ogden avenues. See map below.

Saturday, Sept. 20
Live art event at the Cornish Pasty. Alley closure starts at 3 p.m. Sept. 20 and will reopen at 3 a.m. Sept. 21. Alley closure off Casino Center Boulevard and California Avenue. See map below.
Vegas Strong 5K/1-Mile Run/Walk
Sunday, Sept. 28
This annual running and walking event commemorates the anniversary of the Oct. 1, 2017, tragic mass shooting. Road closures start at 4 a.m. Sept. 28. Roads will reopen at noon. Major closures: Fremont Street from Las Vegas Boulevard to Ninth Street, Las Vegas Boulevard from Fremont to Hoover avenues, and Sixth Street from Hoover to Lewis avenues. See the map below.
