Below are the road closures being planned for May 2025.

First Friday in the Arts District
Friday, May 2, 5-11 p.m.

First Friday is a monthly art, music and food festival in the 18b Las Vegas Arts District. Road closures start at 6 a.m. May 2. Roads will reopen at 1 a.m. May 3. Major closures: Boulder to Hoover avenues, Art Way to First Street, Main Street from Charleston Boulevard to Coolidge Avenue. See the map below.

Cinco Con SerVehZah
Friday, May 2, 3-11:45 p.m.

Block party to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Road closures start at 8 a.m. May 2. Roads will reopen at 10 a.m. May 3. Major closures: Colorado Avenue between Commerce and Main streets. See the map below. 

2025 Helldorado Days Parade
Saturday, May 10, 10 a.m.- 12 p.m.

Annual Helldorado Days Parade celebrating Las Vegas’ birthday, our rich history and diverse community. Road closures start at 6 a.m. Roads will reopen at 2 p.m. Major closures: Fourth Street from Las Vegas Boulevard to Stewart Avenue and all the cross streets along the parade route. Tacos, Tequila, and Car Show                                              Saturday, May 10, noon to 8 p.m.

Tacos, food truck, tequila bar and car show is held at the Downtown Grand. Road closures start at 7 p.m. May 9. Roads will reopen at 10 p.m. May 10. Major closures: Third street from Ogden to Stewart Avenues. See the map below.

East Fremont Festival of Arts
Saturday, May 17,  2 p.m.- 8 p.m.

Art festival on Fremont East. Road closures start at noon May 17. Roads will reopen at 10 p.m. Major closures: Fremont Street from Seventh to Ninth Avenues. See the map below.
