Students will gain an understanding of audio interfaces, signal level, effects processing, MIDI, mixing and bouncing, and marketing/self-promotion in this project-based learning environment, culminating in a final music project custom-tailored to each student's music preferences. Students also will learn how to upload and stream their final projects on popular platforms and gain valuable marketing advice from industry experts.
Students will be working with Apple iMacs, Focusrite digital interfaces, MIDI keyboards, and condenser microphones. No prior knowledge of recording equipment is required to take this class.
Led by our trusted instructors from Latin Vida, Mario Trejo Sr. and family are experts in music education and marketing strategies, serving the public through our city programming for over a decade, making them uniquely qualified to lead this course.
