Below are the road closures being planned.

Life is Beautiful "A Big Beautiful Block Party"
Friday-Saturday, Sept. 27-28

This is a music festival being held at The Plaza Hotel & Casino. Road closures start each day at 3:30 p.m. Roads will reopen the following day at 2 a.m. Major closures: Main Street from Clark to Carson avenues. See the map below.

Vegas Strong 5K/1-Mile
Sunday, Sept. 29

This annual running and walking event commemorates the anniversary of the Oct. 1, 2017, tragic mass shooting. Road closures start at 4 a.m. Sept. 29. Roads will reopen at noon. Major closures: Fremont Street from Las Vegas Boulevard to Tenth Street; Las Vegas Boulevard from Fremont to Hoover Avenue; Hoover from Fourth Street to Seventh Street; and Sixth Street from Hoover to Lewis Avenue.
