Upcoming Events and Happenings

fall farmers market

More than 400 students from 32 Clark County School District schools will be attending the market to sell the fruits and vegetables from their school gardens and hydroponic laboratories. Over the past few months, students have been growing food, learning how to write a business plan for their gardens, learning financial literacy and entrepreneurship while creating marketing and pricing plans with help from their teachers. And now the big day is almost here when they will be empowered to run their own business in the community. We hope that you will be able to come out to support them Wednesday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.
