Celebrating The 100-Year-Old Historic Westside School

One hundred years ago, the doors opened at a small school on the west side of the railroad tracks in Las Vegas. As the city prepares to commemorate the milestone anniversary, we walk through the school's history. The celebration itself will include a 10 a.m. parade followed by a festival at the school at 330 West Washington Ave. Saturday, Sept. 30, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
