Celebrating 10 Years of Class

Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, Oscar’s Steakhouse celebrated its 10th anniversary. As part of the celebration, the Plaza unveiled a life-sized bronze statue of Oscar Goodman with one of his notorious clients Tony Spilatro. The idea for this statue was sparked by Councilwoman Michele Fiore, and was created by master sculptor and acclaimed artist Brian Hanlon, who donated the statue to honor the occasion.

Also, to add to the festivities, Oscar’s Steakhouse announced that it will be expanding the steakhouse to include outdoor dining! We can’t wait to sit down and have a bite to eat.

CCSD Adjusts School Times Next Year to Maintain Transportation Services

Changes to Start and End Times Will Create Transportation Efficiencies Starting in August

The Clark County School District (CCSD) is committed to providing consistent, on-time transportation to eligible students.

Because bus driver shortages have impacted every sector across the country, and to transport students to and from school more efficiently, CCSD has adjusted school start and end times for the 2022-2023 school year, which begins Aug. 8, 2022. The first transition will impact the upcoming 2022-2023 school year by making slight changes to start and end times at more than half of the school campuses to improve on-time rates for all bus routes. At most schools, the adjustment is less than 30 minutes, impacting 65 bus routes.

All school start and end times for the 2022-2023 school year can be accessed by clicking here. Times are subject to change pending the completion of the School Extended Day Request approval process.
