Councilwoman Victoria Seaman's Updates
It is always special when I attend a business grand opening in Ward 2. We had a ribbon-cutting for MaidenWhite, a luxury bridal salon featuring couture and designer wedding gowns and accessories, located in the Village Square Shopping Center at 9420 W. Sahara Ave., Suite 102.
As a small business owner myself, I know all the hard work and sacrifice it takes to get the doors of a business open. That is why I am so happy to welcome MaidenWhite Bridal to Ward 2 and wish them all the success in the world. Please stop by and check out this bridal salon with all your favorite designers.

We had a busy Breakfast Buzz & Ward 2 Biz at Wicked Donuts. I always enjoy hearing what the citizens of Ward 2 have to say.
We recognized American Legion Post 76 for all the outstanding work they do honoring our nation’s fallen warriors. These men are heroes for their service in the armed forces, and heroes still as they honor their comrades who gave their lives for this country.
It was an honor to join elected officials from all levels of government at Woodlawn Cemetery as we honored those who made the ultimate sacrifice for this great nation. We owe these heroes a debt we can never repay.
It was a great honor to attend the 19th Annual Lakes Memorial Day Ceremony, hosted by our city of Las Vegas government, The Lakes Homeowners Association, West Sahara Homeowners Association, and American Legion Post 76. It is important for Americans to take time to remember the sacrifices that brought their freedom, rights and privileges.

The retired New York Police officers that make up the NYPD Ten-13 do an amazing job of keeping alive the memory of the sacrifices made Sept. 11, 2001, and honoring the officers that were lost that day. It was my privilege to give them plaques to recognize their hard work and dedication.
It was great to be at the grand opening of the new Las Vegas Convention Center wing. I look forward to seeing this venue filled with people as convention shows return to Las Vegas.
I want to thank the 2021 Korean Association National Conference for giving me the chance to speak at their event and for the Certificate of Achievement and the Certificate of Appreciation. I am proud of the relationship I have built with the Korean community here in Las Vegas. It is my distinct honor to continue my work with them in the future. Also, congratulations to my chief of staff, David McGowan, honored for all your hard work! You deserve it!
It was so wonderful to join the officers of the LVMPD Summerlin Area Command and the many four-legged friends at the PAWS with PATROL community event on the lawn at downtown Summerlin.
We had a busy Breakfast Buzz & Ward 2 Biz at Rachel's Kitchen. What a wonderful turnout! I always enjoy hearing what the citizens of Ward 2 have to say.
