Join the city of Las Vegas Government Saturday, May 22, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Community Center, 101 N. Pavilion Center Drive, for an electronics recycling drive-thru event. Please see the flyer below for more details about accepted items.
Most outdoor seasonal pools will reopen May 29; get all the details here. (Click on “Pools.”) The city is offering swimming lessons beginning the week of June 1. Also, the city has aquatics teams at each pool for ages 7-17 – water polo, synchronized swimming, competitive diving and competitive swimming. Get all the details and register here. The Office of Community Services and the Department of Parks & Recreation are launching a four-part Veterans Career Workshop with Goodwill Southern Nevada June 1 at the Dula Community Center.
