The city’s departments of Planning and Parks and Recreation will be holding joint neighborhood meetings to discuss the adoption of the 2050 Master Plan and the Imagine LV Parks planning effort. The city has already begun distribution of mailings for these meetings to property owners. However, we also invite the public to these meetings to receive an update on the 2050 Master Plan and discuss the future of our city’s parks. The same meeting will be held on three different dates, so attendees can pick whichever date is most convenient. They will be held:
- Tuesday, March 16, from 5 to 7 p.m.;
- Saturday, March 20, from 10 a.m. to noon; and
- Monday, March 22, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Master Plan adoption information will be presented first, followed by Parks plan information at about one hour after the meeting’s start. You can view and participate in one of several ways: online through the city’s Facebook page or Livestream; online through our WEBEX meeting; live on KCLV Channel 2; or live in person at Las Vegas City Hall in the Council Chamber, socially distanced and occupancy limited. If anyone would like more information about these efforts, they can be found at www.masterplan.vegas or www.imaginelvparks.com, respectively.

Workforce development professionals staff the hubs and can help local employers access no-cost solutions offered through the public workforce development system, such as talent recruitment, training assistance, financial incentives for hiring Nevadans, and more. The "Employ NV Business Hubs" are a coordinated effort between Workforce Connections (Southern Nevada's Local Workforce Development Board), the Nevada Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation (DETR), the Nevada Department of Business and Industry, the Vegas Chamber, and the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District.
