Councilwoman Victoria Seaman's Updates
I had the honor of meeting Team Destia from Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School. These amazing young students, Mason Devore, Nikki Manukyan, McKenna Erwin, and Elyssa Bahr, under the leadership of Principal Scott Fogo, won the Social Innovation Challenge grant for their project to help curb addiction in Ethiopia. It is so inspiring to see young people committed to improving the world.

Rod will give you all the details and information in the video above on how to get a booth and all he asks is that you, “make it, bake it, grow it, or sew it.”

I want to share with you my salute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that was included in the virtual Martin Luther King parade.
I love visiting with Jon D. Ponder with Hope For Prisoners because he inspires me. I look forward to working with him to serve the community.
It was great to join Mayor Goodman and other community leaders for the opening of the new Hash House a Go Go in Summerlin. I salute the owners for having the courage to open up a new restaurant during the pandemic. They bring good food and great jobs to Ward 2 and I wish them all the success in the world.

It is always special when I attend a business grand opening in Ward 2. I attended the grand opening of Vanity Body Sculpting at 9330 W. Sahara Ave., Suite 140, Jan. 14.
As a small business owner myself, I know all the hard work and sacrifice it takes to get the doors of a business open. And as one who started a small business career in the beauty spa business, this is close to my heart.
That is why I am so happy to welcome the Vanity Beauty Boutique to Ward 2 and wish them all the success in the world. Please stop by and check out the fantastic list of services.
