Dear Friend,
The city of Las Vegas Department of Parks and Recreation makes every effort to keep our parks beautiful, properly maintained, and accessible to all residents.
Bruce Trent Park will be undergoing some scheduled maintenance, including an area of the park that was mostly dirt where grass will not grow because of being under dense ash trees. An improvement to the area will be adding mulch. In addition, the park is already on the docket to be upgraded. Those upgrades include replacing an old pavilion that was previously removed with a new, larger one. In addition, our plan is to replace the existing and outdated playground equipment with state-of-the-art play equipment that will be very enticing for kids of all ages. We believe that you will be happy when we are done. I would also like to discuss the planned changes with you. Please attend the Bruce Trent Park Improvement Townhall Saturday, Oct. 10, 10 a.m. at Bruce Trent Park, located at 8851 Vegas Drive.
